About us
The first thing you can see when you arrive at Fuentepiedra Casa Rural is its fantastic façade protected by its architectural value. It is the first indication that you are facing a different accommodation, a typical Cordovan manor house, whose architecture dates from the end of the 19th century; and despite the laborious, it has been perfectly restored. We have managed to maintain its authenticity, conserving original marble and hydraulic floors, ceilings that exceed three meters in height and fully recovered carpentry together with its hardware.
Located in the Historic Center next to the Old Town Hall (S. XVIII, current Municipal Library). You will be able to contemplate from our terrace privileged views of the spectacular Castle of Almodóvar del Río (recent scene of the famous television series "Game of Thrones"), as well as the Plaza de la Constitución.
We offer an exclusive experience when staying in one of the most emblematic houses in the area, being able to enjoy the comfort and tranquility of our days and at the same time experience the sensations of being in a place with more than 100 years.
In our hotel half an hour from Córdoba, in addition to being able to get to know this great city, we can provide you with a wide variety of activities, be they cultural, gastronomic, sports ... tell us how you want to enjoy your stay and we will take care, but if all you want is to rest, take a few minutes to read, or share a chat time, this is also your destination.

Almodóvar Castle
Almodóvar castle is located on a hill of about 252 meters next to the Guadalquivir river, which was navigable at that time by small boats. Traces of multiple cultures, including the Muslim and the Christian, have been marking the architectural style of this incomparable building. In the year 756 this fortress became the lordship of the Arab prince Al'delMalik Ben Qatan and from 758 it came to belong to the Emirate of Córdoba in the reign of Abderraman I.
